Childhood Violent Trauma Center (CVTC)

The Child Trauma Clinic provides comprehensive assessment and treatment for children and families exposed to violence and other potential trauma. Services of the trauma clinic include:
Longitudinal assessment of children and families beginning at the time of their exposure to a potentially traumatic event.

  • Acute and extended mental health treatment
  • Community outreach and case management
  • Treatment planning and coordination with other systems, including:
    • Law enforcement
    • Juvenile justice
    • Child protective services
    • School systems
    • Medical providers
    • Social support agencies
