The Terror of Terrorism and Disaster: Planning, Response and Recovery

This meeting will mark a new approach to planning and response to disasters and terrorism. All agree that the need and use of integrated technology is crucial for the successful implementation of all hazard plans, but lost in this focus has been the primary objective of these responses; the human element. The goal of the conference will be to take the first steps in the development of a plan that fully integrates human behavior and functioning as a core ingredient.

This program is being presented by:

The New Haven Urban Area Security Initiative, The National Center for Children Exposed to Violence at the Child Study Center and The Department of Psychiatry, Yale School of Medicine.
